It’s time to renew your Boston Public Library card. Please stop by your nearest branch with a picture ID and proof of address in the next 10 days to avoid temporarily losing access to online services and your borrowing privileges, which includes books, AV and museum passes. But don’t worry, bring in your ID and proof of address as soon as you can, and you’ll regain access to these resources.

For more information visit http://www.bpl.org/general/circulation/expiration.htm.

If you are unable to make it into a BPL location to renew your library card, sign up for an e-card, http://www.bpl.org/general/circulation/ecards.htm, which will allow you access to most of our online resources, including e-books, streaming media, and our reference and research resources. However, items on your expired card will not transfer to the e-card automatically. You can get your e-card transferred to a full rights card by stopping in at your local branch with a picture ID and proof of address.
